John Mark McNichols, 62, of N. 2nd St., died Saturday June 23, 2012 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 28, 1950 in Coshocton to the late John Elsworth and Ruth Mae (Whiteus) McNichols. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1972, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon his return, he worked for Hathaway Construction until 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Post 65.
He is survived by a son, Shawn McNichols of Columbus, a daughter, Melissa McNichols of Columbus, two granddaughters; Cheyanne & Savannah McNichols, three sisters; Wanetta "Cookie" McNichols of Canal Lewisville, Regina (Dick) Dovenbarger of Coshocton, and Pat (Larry) Fleming of Coshocton, one brother, Robert McNichols of Wakatomika, and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Murray.
