WARSAW - John Junior Taylor, 86, of 196 Spring Mountain Road died January
27, 2009 in the Intensive Care Unit of Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 2, 1922 in Coshocton County to the late Herve and
Julia (Heft) Taylor.
John was the owner/operator of John Taylor's Used Cars in Warsaw from
1972 - 2003. He was employed at the former Husted Motor Sales in Warsaw and
was the manager of the former Peddicord Chevy. He was a member of the
Warsaw United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Doreen "Deanie" (Beck) Taylor, whom he
married May 30, 1968. Also surviving is a daughter, Judith "Judy" (Mike)
Barrick of Canton. Grandchildren, Mark (Cathy) Barrick of Chesapeake, VA,
Vonda (Glen) Snyder of Navarre, Doug (Amy) Barrick of Canton, and Beth
(Emmett) Hickey of Arlington, TX. Six great grandchildren, five great,
great grandchildren and one special great great grandson, Chase Snyder, and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth (Anderson) Taylor,
whom he married Aug. 16, 1941, she died Dec. 3, 1967. He was also preceded
in death by three sisters, two brothers, and his dogs, whom he was very
proud of, "Spunky", "Ginger," and "Skeeter."
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 1:00 P.M.
at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Little officiating.
Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. Visitation is from
