COSHOCTON- Joshua Ray Strohl, Sr., 30, of N. 9th St., died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born Nov. 20, 1980 in Coshocton to Kevin Ray and Bonnie Jane (McFadden) Strohl. Joshua was a hard-working timber cutter who enjoyed reading western novels, playing "Balderdash", spending time in the woods hunting and looking for ginseng. He was a man of faith, with a great love for God and Jesus, and he loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie J. Strohl of Coshocton, a daughter, Savannah Lynn Strohl, a son, Joshua Ray Strohl, Jr., and a step-daughter, Katlin Green, all of Mt. Vernon, five brothers and three sisters; Ched Strohl, Heath (Suzy) Strohl, Bonisha Strohl, Caleb Strohl, Larissa (Josh) Jones, Lyjle Strohl, Kevin Ray Strohl, Jr., & Bonnie Strohl, Jr., all of Coshocton, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kevin Ray Strohl, Sr., and a sister, Raetosha Strohl.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
