Danville - Josie Lynne Kaylor, 19, died Wednesday May 29, 2013 as the result of an auto accident.
She was born May 11, 1994 in Mount Vernon to Brent and Renee (Sherman) Kaylor. She was a 2012 graduate of Danville High School, and was enrolled at COTC School of Nursing. She was a participant in the Greater Knox County Jr. Miss. She also attended the North Bend Church of the Brethren, and was employed at Tractor Supply Company.
Josie is survived by her parents; Brent and Renee of Danville, sisters; Ashley (James) Smith, and Miriah (Larry) Ashman, brothers; Desmond Doyle and Javin Champion, nieces, Brooklyn and Claire Ashman, nephew, Damien Smith, grandparents; Dalton and Helen Kaylor, and Dale and Patricia Edwards, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Sherman.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 3, 2013 at the Danville High School Gymnasium. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will also be at the school from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday.
