Jean Harrison

       WALHONDING- Joyce Jean Harrison, 84, died Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Altercare of Coshocton.

       She was born June 25, 1941 in Sand Gap, KY to the late Andy and Mae (Cole) Davidson. She married Roy D. Harrison, who preceded her in death.

       Jean enjoyed collecting chicken figurines, and spending time at home. She loved her grandkids and helping them when she was able.

       She is survived by her companion of many years, Fred Summerfield; two grandchildren, Daniel Morsie & Brent James; a brother, Bobby (Pat) Davidson; and several nieces & nephews.

       In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Shuler; and a brother, Clifford (Heaven) Davidson.

       A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026 at Riley Chapel Cemetery, 30457 Walhonding Rd. Danville, OH 43014, with Pastor Sheila Kent officiating. Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Riley Chapel Baptist Church, 33715 TR 373 Warsaw, OH 43844.
