WARSAW - Joyce Elaine Jackson, 65, of SR 79 died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born Feb. 14, 1947 in Harlan, Kentucky to Bill and Georgia Lee Walker.
Joyce was a factory worker. She was also a breast cancer survivor; and she loved her family, enjoyed helping others, and was very social and outgoing.
She was loved and will be truly missed by her spouse, children, and family.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Jackson, who she married Jan. 5, 1996. Also surviving is her mother, Georgia Phillips of Maryville, TN. Her children, Bob Bishop of Cleveland, Ben Wells of Cleveland, Brenda Tincher of Warsaw, and Wayne Ely of Warsaw. Her twin brother, Royce Walker of West Lafayette, sister, Patricia Bircher of Maryville, TN, and sister, Vivian Shaw of Maryville, TN and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Walker, Bobby Walker, and Clemen Tincher and a sister, Irma Browning.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Perry Chapel Baptist Church 19476 Perry Township Road 380 Warsaw, Ohio at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Fowls officiating.
