Julia A. Fields

       SHREVE- Julia Ann (Young) Fields, 95, died Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

       She was born March 6, 1931 in Warsaw to the late Tremont Webster “Molly” and Anna Augusta (Arnold) Young. She was a 1949 graduate of Warsaw High School. She married James Conley Fields on June 22, 1957, who preceded her in death March 20, 2026.

      Julia enjoyed many activities, such as music & line dancing, going to musicals, and movies. At home she loved baking, cooking, feeding her birds, and tending to her flowers. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians, and watched the games on TV with her husband.

      She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Russell) West of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Brent West, and Bryce West; three step-grandchildren, Brian West (Brigitte), Brad (Brittnay) West, Bronson (Talisha) West; two step-great-grandchildren, Ashlynn West, and Bradley West; and several nieces and nephews.

       In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Harold Ferrell, Charles "Chad" Ferrell, and Sara Sue Wells.

       Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Fischer Funeral Home, 412 E. Main St. Warsaw, OH 43844, with Rev. Dairel Kaiser officiating.
