COSHOCTON- Kathleen May McIntyre, 85, a resident of Kindred Transitional Care, died Saturday Dec. 29, 2012 at the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1927 in Coshocton Co. to the late Clarence and Twila Marie (Young) Hostetler. She married Raymond McIntyre, Jr. on April 1, 1949, who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1976. In her earlier years before her blindness she enjoyed cooking, baking and raising her children. Later in life, her interests included crocheting, Christian music, and listening to audio books, especially the Holy Bible.
She is survived by four children; Elizabeth (Ralph) Young, Jeanne Smith, Raymond Clarence McIntyre, and Edward McIntyre, all of Coshocton, four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, ten step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Houghland, an infant son, three grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, three nephews, and a niece.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday Jan. 4, 2013 at Valley View Cemetery with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
