WALHONDING- Katie Weaver, 62, of New Castle Rd., died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after a period of declining health.
Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27th at the Herbie Miller residence, 25505 SR 206 Walhonding, OH 43843, with Bishop Owen Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the New Order Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery in Butler Twp., Knox Co. Friends may call anytime on Wednesday, Nov. 26th at the Marion Miller residence, 30477 New Castle Rd. She was born Nov. 9, 1952 in Wayne Co. to the late Benj and Mary Wengard. She married Leroy H. Weaver on Jan. 29, 1985, who survives. She made her home near New Castle in Walhonding since 1998. She was a member of the New Order Christian Fellowship.
In addition to her husband Leroy, she is survived by Ben (Fannie) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Eli (Laura) Yoder of Walhonding, Abe (Mattie) Yoder of Lakeville, Dan (Katie) Wengard and David (Mary) Wengard both of Berne, IN, Ada Yoder of Lakeville, 18 great-nephews, 17 great-nieces, 3 great-great-nieces, 4 nephews, and her mother-in-law, Clara Weaver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Henry Weaver, a sister and brother-in-law, Lovina & Roy Yoder, and one great-nephew.
