Kay Hollingsworth

WARSAW - Andrea Kay Wells Hollingsworth, 53, of CR 79 died March 19, 2009 at the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 25, 1956 in Coshocton to Robert N. and Elnora (Barnitz) Wells.


Kay was a Social Worker having worked at the Crawford County Children's Home, College Park, and Camp Echoing Hills. She was a graduate of Otterbein College with a BA in psychology/sociology. She was the first female member of the River View FFA and the first female member/President of the Warsaw Lions Club. She was a former 4-H member. A member of the Walhonding Valley Grange and the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church. She was an avid doll and stamp collector.

Kay is survived by her husband, David Hollingsworth, whom she married June 11, 1983. Also surviving is her mother, Elnora Wells of Warsaw. Two brothers, Lynn Wells and Kim (Mary Jo) Wells of Warsaw. A God son, George West of Warsaw. Father-in-law, Ralph Hollingsworth of Newcomerstown. Brother-in-law, Ralph Jr. (Linda) Hollingsworth of Peoli and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert N. Wells.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church with Pastor Jane Betts officiating. Burial will be in the Mohawk Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 3-5 P.M. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw and prior to the service at the church.
