Danville- Kenneth Eugene Banbury, 80, passed away Friday morning, June 27, 2025.
Kenny was the son of Carl and Helen (Hammontree) Banbury, born in Mount Vernon on June 30, 1944. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and playing cards. He retired from Mansfield Plumbing and could often be found in Danville having breakfast or coffee with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward (Kay); and his niece, Carrie Hockenberry.
Surviving are his brother, Lowell (Bobbi); nephews, Adam (Kim) Banbury, David and Chris Banbury, and Scott Hockenberry; great nieces and nephews, Evan, Paige, Gillian, and Wade; and many cousins and good friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 Monday, June 30, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Father Homer Blubaugh will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 3-5:00 Sunday.
