Kevin Lynn McCurdy

COSHOCTON – Kevin Lynn McCurdy, 65, of Coshocton died Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in the Emergency Dept of Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born August 15, 1960 in Coshocton to Carl James & Rhetta Jean (Speckman) McCurdy.

Kevin made a career in truck driving, but his true passion was the love he had for people, his family, and his friends. He never met a stranger and loved striking up conversations with anyone, especially his fellow truckers and the friends he made at the Coffee Connection. Kevin will be remembered most for his unwavering dependability and the genuine kindness he shared with everyone whose life he touched!

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Nadine (Prater) Leigh McCurdy, whom he married April 3, 2021. Also surviving is his mother, Rhetta Jean McCurdy of Warsaw. His children, Jenny Lynn McCurdy (Josh Harper), Ashley Nicole Ray (Andrew), Jamie Eugene McCurdy (Jodi), & Jason Stuart McCurdy (Angela Kirker). Bonus children, Eland Daniel Leigh (Britney) & Braeden Nicholas Leigh (Jenna Leonetti). Grandchildren, Jayla, Javen, Jace, Jersey, Jaze, Jaylynn, Macy, Kendrick, Journey, Adeline, Atticus, Abigail, Penelope, & Henry. Great grandson, Buxton. His brother, Keith McCurdy of Coshocton. Nephew, Clint McCurdy (Sarah). Great nieces, Maggie & Maddy. Special cousins, Shirley & Lee Johnson & David & Betty Fawcett. And his loving dogs, Buster & Maggie.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Carl James McCurdy.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with a service to follow at 2:00 pm. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
