MT. VERNON- Kimberly Ann Snow, 40, of Vincent Rd., died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Knox Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
She was born March 2, 1972 in Mt. Vernon to Edwin and Helen (Priest) Sobers. She was a 1990 graduate of Riverdale High School in Ft. Myers, FL. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. She also loved writing poetry, shopping, especially at yard sales and for antiques, scrap-booking, and she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Dale Snow of Mt. Vernon, who she married on July 29, 1996. Also surviving is her son, Jordan (Liz) Snow of Mt. Vernon, two grandchildren; Holden & Hallie Snow, her mother, Helen Sobers of Mt. Vernon, eight siblings; Diane Sullivan of St. Pete Beach, FL, David (Lori) Sobers of Westminster, SC, Linda (Dick) Lester of College Station, TX, Rick (Sandy) Sobers of Mt. Vernon, Kathy (Gene) Sechrest of East Rochester, Cheryl (Rich) Stockdale of Newark, Debbie (Chuck) Guisinger of Newark, and Bonnie (Bud) Beeco of Fredericktown, ten nieces, eight nephews, several aunts & uncles, her mother & father-in-law; Merle & Janet (Busenburg) Snow of Mt. Vernon, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews on the Snow side of her family, and also her special companions, "Hershey" & "Coco".
She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Sobers, step-father, Roger Ingraham, and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012 at the FISCHER FUNERAL HOME in Danville with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.
