WARSAW- Orva Kriss Thompson, 64, died Saturday, February 14, 2026 at his residence.
He was born May 30, 1961 in Mt. Vernon to the late Paul J. and Roberta Maxine (Mowery) Thompson. He was a truck driver for many years, working for several companies including Coshocton Trucking and Happy Valley Trucking. He loved dirt track racing, and his family. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Treva P. (Van Sickle) Thompson of Warsaw, whom he married July 11, 1992; his children, Carrie McCloy (Chris Asbury) of Coshocton, Charity McCloy of Coshocton, Amy Young (Tom Krasky) of West Lafayette, and Billi (Chris) Cantrell of Warsaw; grandchildren, Travis, Jeremy, & Koda, Diamond, Josh, Teagan, & Alyassa, Logan, Olivia, Averie, & Shiloh; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlene (Larry) Henry of Howard, and Marlene Slaughter of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kirk, Keith “Hambone”, and Larry Kevin Thompson; grandparents, Monna & Orva Mowery; and his step-mother, Zelma (Fry) Thompson.
His final resting place will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Danville, and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. FischerFuneralHome.com
