KILLBUCK- Larry L. Moore, 87, died Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the home of his daughter & son-in-law, Terri & Kurt Miller.
He was born March 31, 1938 in Coshocton Co. to the late Kenneth W. and Mary Cathern (Siegel) Moore. He graduated from Killbuck High School in 1957. He then started and finished his apprenticeship at Cooper Bessemer. He went on to join the Ariel Corp., where he later became a design engineer. After 15 years, he retired at 65. He owned Moore's Small Engine for 29 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Who’s Who, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and Union Grove Church of Christ.
Larry grew up on a farm, and after graduation he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Marlene (Reed) Moore on March 16, 1957. They lived a full and happy life together. They enjoyed traveling, raising their family, going out to eat, and doing hobbies together. They enjoyed 66 years of visiting many places, including Myrtle Beach, Florida, and Hawaii. She preceded him in death Sept. 13, 2023.
Larry was very active in using his time and effort to accomplish his many bucket list endeavors. He earned his pilot’s license at age 22, and built their log house where they lived for 23 years before moving into town. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by three children, Tami (Kraig) Bucklew of Millersburg, Edward Moore of Killbuck, and Terri (Kurt) Miller of Perrysville; grandchildren, Josh (Brittany) Miller, Jeremy (Chuck) Miller, Brock (Lisa) Bucklew, and Kaci Bucklew; great-grandchildren, Myla & Easton Miller, and Lyra Bucklew; brother, Marlin (Barbara) Moore of Killbuck; numerous nieces & nephews; his very good friend, Bernetta Weiss of Killbuck; and a sister-in-law, Jeri Lee Moore of Dresden.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Megan Marie Moore; brothers, Harold (Betty), Gene (Adele), and Kenneth Jr. Moore; a sister, Betty (Jerald) Boyd; and a nephew, Kim (Pam) Moore.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Cliff Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Killbuck Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time. FischerFuneralHome.com
