COSHOCTON - Larry F. Thomas, 62, of Coshocton died Nov. 10, 2010 at the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Dec. 7, 1947 in Coshocton to the late John F. and Norma L. (Cunningham) Thomas.
He graduated from River View High School in 1967. Before becoming disabled he was a truck driver for Beutenmiller Trucking for several years. He was a member of the Branch United Methodist Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Moose, and a former member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local Union #637.
Larry loved spending time with family and friends. He was soft spoken and a very kind and gentle man who loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his loving companion, Judy McFarland of Coshocton. A daughter, Tonya (Josh) Proffit of Warsaw. A son, Travis D.F. Thomas of Coshocton. Two grandchildren. One sister, Sharry (Carl) Chapman of Conesville. Two brothers, Terry (fiance'-Pam Flowers) Thomas of Coshocton and Frank A. Thomas of West Lafayette. Step children, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & several cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by an infant son.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Pastor Joel Mason officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling the arrangements.
