Coshocton- Leo E. Wright, 77, of 44869 TR 413, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 29, 1933 in Coshocton County to the late Otis E. and Norma (Larr) Wright. He was a 1952 graduate of Coshocton High School. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955, having trained at Fort Knox, KY and based in Maryland and Alaska. He retired from GE in Coshocton in 1990. He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles, Moose, a VFW, as well as a former Bethlehem Twp. Trustee. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, woodcrafts, and "tinkering". He loved caring for his animals and spending time on the farm with family and friends.
He is survived by two sons; Ed Wright, and Otis H. Wright of Milford Center, his grandchildren; Leo & Sarah Wright of Cincinnati, Sheila "Summer" Gandy of Louisiana, Marla (Chris) Cox of Georgia, Christy (Derek) Crihfield of Canton, Jessey Wright of Coshocton, and Maggie & Tara Wright of North Carolina, four step-children; Terri Davis of Coshocton, Susan Langdon of Warsaw, Rose (Steve) Lapp of Senecaville, and Danielle "Dani" (Richard) Madinger of Coshocton, and other family members; Mike & Deb Brickey and Penny Brickey.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene Wright, his second wife, Janie Kaiser, his fiancAC., Phyllis "Philly" Shearer, and other family member; Mickey Brickey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by the Coshocton Co. joint Veterans Council. Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m. Sunday and lasts until service time.
