Coshocton- Leonard Darrell Jackson, Jr., of 648 Elm St., died Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born April 4, 1949 in Coshocton County to Leonard and Effie (Norris) Jackson. Leonard was an outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt wild game. He loved all his children, was good-hearted, friendly to everyone, and everyone liked him.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (James) Jackson of Coshocton, whom he married on Dec. 31, 2007, eight children; Dionne (Timothy) Jones of Marion, Felicia Jackson of Marion, Karen Harris of Marion, Derek Fulton of Newark, Lucas Henry of Coshocton, David Fulton of Newark, Samuel Jackson of Coshocton, and Effie Jackson of Coshocton, three step-children; Vickie English, Brittney Middaugh, and David English, all of Coshocton, a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and six brothers and sisters; Alpha Evans of Warsaw, Martha Polk of Coshocton, Mary (Norris) Polk of Cleveland, Edward (Connie) Jackson of Warsaw, Roger Jackson of Warsaw, and Debra (Maurice) Liggins of Canton.
In addition to his parents, Effie and Leonard Jackson, Sr., he is also preceded in death by a son, Leonard Darrell Jackson III, two brothers; Delmar and Andrew Jackson, and a sister, Josephine Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will be in Darling Run Cemetery. Calling hours are one hour prior to service time on Friday.
