BLISSFIELD- Linda Sue Geog, 68, of 42300 CR 318, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born Sept. 10, 1942 in Coshocton to H. Kenneth and Helen (Mizer) VanKannel. On May 12, 1977 she married Carl Geog, who survives. She was the former Postmaster of the United States Post Office in Blissfield. She enjoyed cooking, baking pies, and taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Geog of Blissfield, her mother, Helen VanKannel of Blissfield, two daughters; Jennifer (Jim) Felton and Jill Cline of Blissfield, two step-daughters; Connie (Jim Mathews) Geog of Columbus, and Bonnie Boehm of Blissfield, five grandchildren; Van Marshall, Strattyn Beighley, Jadyn Cline, Jesi Arnold, and Kolby Boehm, and one great-grandchild, Aliah Williamson.
She is preceded in death by her father, H. Kenneth VanKannel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Blissfield Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
