Linda D. Manson

COSHOCTON- Linda Dianne (Wilt) Manson, 84, died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her home in Coshocton.

She was born Feb. 29, 1940 in Jackson Township, Coshocton County, Ohio to the late John Edward and Sara Evelyn (Randles) Wilt.

Linda graduated in 1957 from Bladensburg High School. She lived her entire life in Knox and Coshocton Counties. She married Robert “Bob” Manson on Feb. 16, 1962, who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2021.

Her main hobby was genealogy, which she pursued for over 45 years, researching her families in Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania, England and Germany. She worked for many years as Probate Clerk in Coshocton County.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee (John) Groeneveld of Maryland Heights, MO; her brothers, Keith (Nancy) Wilt of Coshocton & Greg Wilt of San Diego, CA; her sisters Cathy Tahyi of Coshocton County, and Judy Jadwin of Mount Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Manson, Jr.; and a sister, Marilyn Frost.
