Lois Fox

Lois M. Fox 79 of Danville passed away on October 21,2022 at her home surrounded by her husband of 53 years, her children and family.

Lois was born April 8, 1943 to the late Earl F. "Tony" and Eleanor Luella (Barcus) Boling in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Lois married Charles F. Fox on October 10,1969, who survives her.

Lois was a graduate of the class of 1961 at Danville High School. She continued her education by attending Columbus Business School and COTC. She was Worthy Matron of the Kokosing Chapter of The Eastern Stars and also a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville.  She worked at Patented Products for 21 years before opening The Devils Den in 1986 with her husband. After she retired, she and her husband became snowbirds and went to Florida for 10 years where they met some of the greatest friends of their lives. Lois loved gardening, painting, sewing, but Lois had a love like no other for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived her by two sons, Gary (Terry) Fox of Mt. Vernon, CMSgt Barry (Deana) Fox of Rose Hill, KS and her four daughters, Suzanne (Eric Murnieks) Springer of Dublin, Shelley (Todd Bender) Ansel of Danville, Toni (Scott Yarman) Blubaugh of Howard and Tia (Lincoln) Ball of Howard.  She is also survived by a brother Paul (Vickie) Boling, a sister Jean Stachler and an aunt Evelyn (Barcus) Murray, along with several nieces and nephews. Lois is also survived by her wonderful 14 grandchildren and 27 great grand children that she loved so dearly. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Dick Boling and his wife Wilma Lee (Brady) Boling, a daughter Barby Dee (Fox) Ludwig, a son in law Shawn Blubaugh and a grandson Jacob Ludwig. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, at the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville. Father Mark Hammond and Father Homer Blubaugh will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the church from 5-7:00 Monday evening.
