Coshocton- Lois Mildred Thomas, 92, a resident of Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center, died Thursday at the care center.
She was born January 22, 1916 in Coshocton Co. to the late Clarence and Cora (Adams) Wright. She married Earl Cletus Thomas on October 6, 1934, whom preceded her in death on June 6, 1991. She was a member of the Branch United Methodist Church, loved to quilt and cook, and she loved her family.
She is survived by her children; Delbert (Grace) Thomas of Coshocton, Barbara (Fred) Hahn of Coshocton, Forrest (Nancy) Thomas of London Mills, IL, Raymond (Cathy) Thomas of Coshocton, Judy (Jerry) Asire of Newark, and Daniel (Christy) Thomas of Dresden, 19 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-great-grandchild, a brother, Paul (Betty) Wright of San Diego, CA, a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Thomas of Galesburg, IL, and a very special friend, Mae Shephard.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by a son, Roy Thomas, 3 brothers; Charles, Art, and Harold Wright, a sister, Anna Belle Green, and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Ed Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
