Loretta "Jody" (Morris) Aliemenious

MT. VERNON- Loretta Marie “Jody” (Morris) Aliemenious, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

She was born July 9, 1955 in Toledo to the late Charles R. and Myrtle (Bodi) Morris. She was an extremely giving person, and cared for many senior citizens over the years. Jody was a loving wife, a free spirit, loved tea time with her sister, and loved animals, especially her dogs "Mitzi Moo" & "Shadow".

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David G. Aliemenious of Mt. Vernon, whom she married June 18, 1979; her daughter, Myla Joy Schimmel of Toledo; two grandchildren, Michael A. Schimmel & Keagan J. Schimmel; a sister, Christine Pikaart of Mt. Vernon; four brothers, Stanley W. Morris, Sr. of Tennessee, Howard Morris of Gambier, and Donald L. Morris, Sr. & Douglas L. Morris, both of Mt. Vernon; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth L. Morris, Harley R. Morris, Charles R. Morris, Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Greg Blubaugh officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation is one hour prior to service time.
