DANVILLE- Lori Kay (Riley) Powell, 54, of W. Main St., died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
She was born Jan. 9, 1958 in Los Angeles County, CA to Donald and Barbara Jean (Grubaugh) Riley. She was a member of the New Castle Fellowship Church. She enjoyed the art of making jewelry, arts & crafts, and was an avid animal lover. She will be remembered as a loving and forgiving family member and friend.
She is survived by her father, Donald Riley of Danville, five siblings; Cindy L. (Andy) Moreno of Dallas, TX, William (Paula) Riley of Danville, Vincent Stefan (Charlene) Ciolino of Palm Coast, FL, Rickie Parker of Marion, and Kim (Roger) McFadden of Danville, several aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews, and all the special kids who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Friedlander, her step-mother, Geraldine Riley, a brother, David Max Friedlander II, and all of her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Pastor Rae Anderson officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Tiverton Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
