Lorie J. Garrett

COSHOCTON- Lorie Joanne (Cooper) Garrett, 53, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus.

She was born Aug. 31, 1968 in Wooster to the late Melvin and Doris Nadine (Decker) Cooper. She was a good mom who was very caring and loving, even when it meant tough love. She loved her family more than anything and would always help those in need no matter what.

Lorie was a very strong, independent woman. She could always accomplish whatever it was she set her mind to do.

She is survived by two daughters, Emmalee Garrett & Elizabeth Garrett, both of Coshocton; a granddaughter, Aviana Wheeler; a sister, Viola Cooper; and three brothers, Gary, Carroll, and Herbert Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Cooper.
