Lottie A. Schaub

Millersburg - Lottie A. Schaub, 98, died Tuesday December 25, 2012 at the Majora Lane Care Center where she was a resident.

She was born July 12, 1914 near Gambier to Warner and Eva (Snyder) Ransom. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and the Jefferson Grange and Garden Club. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardens, bird watching, and also watching bowling, basketball, and baseball.


Surviving are her children; Louise Ward of Loudonville, Charles (Lunetta) Schaub of Hayesville, Paul Schaub of Greer, Rosalie Gainer of Tucson, AZ, Jim (Joan) Schaub of Frisco, TX, Sharon Kline (Donnie Dial) of Glenmont, Robert (Debra) Schaub of Butler, Mike (Linda) Schaub of Warren, and Linda (Dave) Kelley of Holmesville, 27 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 28 great- great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Richard B. Schaub, a daughter; Mary Durbin, grandsons; Spencer Schaub and Jeremy Kelley, a brother; John Ransom, and a sister; Venice Ferrell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday December 28, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Larry Houck will officiate. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be from noon until service time.
