Danville – Lowell J. Richert, 68, passed away suddenly Thursday January 14, 2016 at his residence.
He was born April 18, 1947 in Mount Vernon to Gail F. and Eleanor E. (Jackson) Richert. He married Shirli Hively, and operated a dairy farm for 25 years, and drove for Richert Trucking for nearly 30. Lowell loved his grandchildren and four wheeler riding.
He is survived by his wife, Shirli, children; Jodi (George) Newton of Utica, Kristian (Melissa) Richert , David Richert, Annalisa Richert, and Erik (Selena) Richert all of Danville, grandchildren; Cordillia, Jaylyn, Bentley, Colton, and Kensli, a brother, Clair (JoAnne) Richert of Danville, a sister, Mary (John) Lloyd of Danville, and a sister-in-law, Wilma Richert of Howard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Carroll Richert.
