Powell- Lowell Dean Whitaker, 58, of Powell passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at his home of natural causes.
He was born May 15, 1950 in Coshocton to Donald and Eileen (Hooker) Whitaker, whom survive. Lowell graduated from River View High School, the Ohio State University, and Capital University with a law degree.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three daughters; Dawn (Jarrod) McClain of Newark, Tacy (Scott) Osler of Mountain View, CA, and Erin (Andy) Rinehart of Powell, a son, Trevor Whitaker of Powell, and five grandchildren; Cameron Poulton, Tyson Poulton, Reese McClain, Justis McClain all of Newark, and Grace Osler of Mountain View, CA.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Whitaker.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2008 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Everett Stoddard officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
