Danville – Luella Mae Hochstetler, 88, of Orange Hill Rd., passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Millersburg on January 7, 1928. She was a member of the North Bend Church of the Brethren, and was a 4H Advisor for more than 35 years.
Luella is survived by her children; Michael (Laura) Hochstetler of Lehigh Acres, FL, Mary Ellen Hoovler of Danville, Mona (Kenneth) Fink of Hilliard, and Mark Hochstetler of Columbus, grandchildren; Michelle Hochstetler, Michael Hochstetler, Jr., Melinda Robles, Julie Nichols, Matthew Hoovler, Amanda Franz, Angela Ernsberger, Amy Ernsberger-Perez, and Robyn Hochstetler, 13 great-grandchildren, siblings; James C. (Jeanne) Hains of Sebring, Fl, Juanita (Rondale) Pritchard of Mt. Vernon, Janetta Ryan of Sebring, Lunette (Charles) Shaub of Hayesville, Faun (Robert) Parker of Danville, and Fern Wood of Sebring, half brothers; Jim (Mary) Darr of Warsaw, amd Donnie W. (Annette) Darr of Texas, a half-sister; Susanne (Jack) McAlexander of Florida, and a half sister-in-law; MariLee of Pataskala.
She was preceded in death by her parents; George E. and Louise Belle (Burris) Hains, her birth father; Dwight Darr, and her husband; Merrill O. Hochstetler.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 26 at the North Bend Church, with Pastor Patrick Bailey officiating.
