Danville - Margaret E. Colopy, 70, died Sunday February 15, 2009 at her residence.
She was born September 2, 1938 in Mount Vernon to John and Beulah Mae (Pilkington) Henwood. On October 26, 1957 she was married to Charles Thomas Colopy, Jr., who preceded her in death on August 23, 1991.
Surviving are her children; Michael (Cheryl) Colopy, Danville, Daniel (Deborah) Colopy, Danville, Rebecca (Larry) Loney, Fredricktown, Suzanne Mickley, Danville, Dennis (Phyllis) Colopy, Howard, and Timothy (Dawn) Colopy, Danville, one sister Pauline McGinnis, Howard, one Brother Joseph Henwood (Emma), Howard, grandchildren; Ryan and Brad Colopy, Daniel (Ginny), and Bessie (Kyle) Cline, Ben (Alizabeth) Colopy, Brittany Colopy, Melissa and Adam Loney, Paige Mickley, Bryce and Shelby Colopy, Glen and Cory Geog, and Bo and Reggie Colopy, great grandchildren; Austin, Dylan, Grant, and Meghan Colopy, Lane Cline, Macey Moore, Aubrey and Kaiden Colopy, and Adrianna Price.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; John and Beulah Mae Henwood, and brothers; Bill and Jack Henwood.
She was an active member of the St. Luke Catholic Church and the P.C.C.W., and was a member of the Colonial City Moose Lodge 2555 in Mount Vernon.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday February 18, 2009, at the St. Luke Church in Danville. The Rev. F. Richard Snoke will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the church from 6-8:30 P.M. on Tuesday, followed by a prayer service, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Memorial donations can be made to the church at P.O. Box P, Danville, 43014, or to the Danville Fire Dept.; P.O. Box 526, Danville, 43014. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
