Howard - Margaret T. (Gedeon) Forster, 92, died Wednesday September 3, 2008 at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born in Lakewood on September 22, 1915. She married Fred J. Forster on June 26, 1937. She graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland and retired from Cooper-Bessmer Co. in Mount Vernon. She had a life long zest for learning and life.
She is survived by daughters; Loreen (Dean) Cather of Ashland, and Elaine (William) Staats of Howard, sons; Fred (Lynette), Albert (Kathy-deceased), and Joseph (Charlotte) Forster all of Howard, a sister; Louise Shuga of North Ridgeville, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and infant son, a granddaughter, a great-great granddaughter, a sister, and two brothers.
Services will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, at 11:00 A.M., on Friday September 5, 2008. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the church at 303 E. High St., Mount Vernon, 43050. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
