Marlene A. Shrimplin
DANVILLE - Marlene Ann Shrimplin, 66, of S. Linwood Street died July 15, 2009 at the Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
She was born Aug. 6, 1942 in Mount Vernon to the late Carl and Audrey (Hawthorne) McMillan.
She was a homemaker who dearly loved her family, kids, grandkids, and dogs. She was a 1960 graduate of Danville High School.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Shrimplin, whom she married June 16, 1963. Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda (Larry) Dalton of Danville and Rhonda (Sean) Crow of Newark. Two grandchildren, Natalie Dalton and Devon Crow. A sister, Norma Jean (Joe) Todd of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Lee Shrimplin of Nov. 15, 1992 and a brother, Ronald L. McMillan on Dec. 21, 2003.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Saturday. July 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Workman Cemetery in Danville with Pastor Joe Overholt officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling the arrangements.
