Martha S. (Wilhelm) Barrick

DRESDEN- Martha S. (Wilhelm) Barrick, 83, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born July 22, 1938 in Coshocton to the late Harry Carl and Garnet Louise (Wolford) Wilhelm. She was a 1956 graduate of Coshocton High School, and later completed Beautician School in Columbus.

Martha owned and operated beauty salons in Coshocton for several years. She also worked at Longaberger for 12 years, and was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star. She loved showing sheep and going to sheep shows with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mike Barrick of Dresden, whom she married Aug. 23, 1970; two daughters, Christine Hutchison of Coshocton, and Carleen (Michael) Gast of Frazeysburg; grandchildren, Rebecca Hutchison, Clayton Hutchison, and Tori Gast; and great-grandchildren, Rylan and Raelyn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary (Wilhelm) Barrick.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw , with Rev. Tim Patton officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
