Mary Conner

Danville – Mary E. Conner, 74, passed away on October 2, 2021 at the Riverside Hospital in Columbus.

She was born in Kenova, WV to James Otto and Geneva (Sturgill) Castle on August 23, 1947. Mary loved sewing, cooking, and especially gardening. She always had a huge garden, and once had over 1,500 tomato plants. She was a mother to two children, David and Nancy, and a sister to her deceased siblings, Patsy Ryan, Charles E. Castle, Sharlotte Gilpin, James D. Castle, Millard C. Castle, Doyle E. Castle, Donny R. Castle, and Nellie Castle.

She is survived by her companion, John Goudy of Danville, sisters, Debra Inscore of Canal Winchester, and Elizabeth of Groveport, grandchildren, Catherine and Grant Tillis, and son-in-law, Dwight Tillis.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 8 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Sharon Kirch will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery.
