Mount Vernon - Mary M. Dewey, 81, died Wednesday April 22, 2009 at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born July 28, 1927 in Danville to and Vera (Rosebourgh) and Oliver Truex. On July 28, 1946 she was married to Robert E. Dewey. She was a member of the Amvets Post 95 and Eagles 760 in Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her sons; James of Mount Vernon, and Michael Dewey of Elyria, 4 granddaughters, 2 great granddaughters, and 1 great grandson, nephews; Donnie and Bobby Truex, and a niece; Kaye Crumbaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sons; Daniel and Ronald Dewey, a sister; Mariam Fletcher, and a brother; Ralph "Pat" Truex.
A private interment will be held at a later date in Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Knox County; 17700 Coshocton Rd., Mount Vernon, 43050.
