DRESDEN- Mary A. (Wright) Lacy, 58, of N. River Rd., died Thursday Jan. 24, 2013 at her residence.
She was born June 27, 1954 in Coshocton to Ned B. and Marilyn (Bates) Wright. She received a bachelor's degree in teaching from Ohio University, and was a member of the Ohio University Alumni Association. Mary was a very outgoing person, who never met a stranger in her life. She loved all her family and took special delight in all of their accomplishments. They will miss her insight, humor, and quick wit.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Herman Lacy of Dresden, whom she married June 4, 1995. Also surviving is her mother, Marilyn Wright of West Lafayette, two daughters; Sarah (Ryan) Bagley of Lake Bluff, IL, and Megan (Justin) Wright of Stuttgart, Germany, a granddaughter, Grace, three step-daughters; Jessie (Nate) Murphy of Mt. Vernon, Danae (Todd) Griffith of Pataskala, and Nicole (Kevin Wooten) Lacy of Columbus, a sister, Patricia (Gary) Fridley of Northbrook, IL, a brother, Eric Wright of Mt. Vernon, a nephew, Michael Wilson of Chicago, IL, and her cat, "Scooter".
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 30, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Deacon Andy Duda officiating. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
