Warsaw- Mary Eileen Norris, 83, of US 36 died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born Nov. 4, 1925 in Coshocton County to Byron and Beulah (Haines) McCoy. She married Robert A. "Bob" Norris on July 22, 1944, whom survives. She was a homemaker and farmer for many years. She enjoyed gardening, was a lifetime member of the Coshocton Co. Farm Bureau, and the Warsaw Homemakers Club.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Norris of Warsaw, a son, Richard (Ann) Norris of Warsaw, a daughter-in-law, Shirley Norris of Warsaw, four grandchildren; April (Greg) Graham of Johnstown, Amy (John) King of Pataskala, Arron Norris of Warsaw, and Heather (Mike) Armstrong of Warsaw, and four great-grandchildren; Brittni, Matthew, and Kaitlynn Graham, and Laney King.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Edward Norris, two brothers; Bill and Harry McCoy, a sister, Ruth Donley, and a granddaughter, Melissa Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
