Mary A. Strouse

Brinkhaven – Mary Alice Strouse, 78, passed away on Tuesday January 31, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Knox County on August 7, 1938 to David and Rosetta Avisn (Howard) Logston. She was a member of the Greer Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are her daughters; Elaine Davis of Danville, Linda (Bill) Samples of Danville, Joy (Kenny) Addair of Howard, son, Dave (Marie) Strouse of Brinkhaven, son-in-law, Andy Franks of Mount Vernon, 10 grandchildren; Michelle McCain, Robert (Tiffany) Davis, Matthew (Sara) Samples, Tyrel (Jenny) Samples, James (Joni) Grennell, Joshua (Andrea) Grennell, Jacob Grennell, Katie Addair, Grant Addair, and Jolisha (Charles) Wallace, 15 great grandchildren; Hunter Severns, Chloe Green, Landen and Brayden Davis, Taylor Huggins, Isabella, James, Zayne, and Kaelynn Grennell, Will, Max, Maycee, Coby, and Megan Samples, and Hudson Wallace, sisters; Myrtle Hammons, and Dortha (Darrell) Helms, and special aunt, Irene Bowman.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Robert Fronsman, second husband, Paul Strouse, daughter, Sandra Franks, brother, David, and sisters; Sharon and Donna.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 4 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Eric McEvoy will officiate. Burial will follow in Tiverton Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6-8 Friday evening.
