Danville - Mary Ann Thomas, 81, died Wednesday afternoon, February 13, 2013, at the Kindred Hospital at Med Central in Mansfield.
She was born December 8, 1931 to Frank and Josephine Mozina. Mary Ann had a sense of humor that could make a crowd smile. She was also an excellent cook that could bring a line of people for miles, ya know! Many memories have been made, which we will cherish forever.
Mary Ann is survived by her twin sister; Rose Marie Polaniec, brothers; Frank and William Mozina, her sons; David Sr. and Mark Thomas, and her daughter at heart; Patty Thomas, grandsons; David Jr. (Rebecca), Dustin, and Blake Thomas, granddaughters; Jolene (Tommy), Angel, and Natalie Thomas, great granddaughters and grandsons; Alyssa, Aviendha, Rand, Afton, and Carma, the extended Watts family, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Daniel C. Thomas, her sister; Josephine Kocin, and brother-in-law; Edward Polaniec.
We will celebrate Mary Ann's life with a Mass at the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville on Saturday February 16 at 11:00 a.m. Father Victor Wesolowski will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery.
