Mary B. Valentine

November 18, 1923 — October 14, 2009

Warsaw- Mary Belle Valentine, 85, of CR 3, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

She was born Nov. 18, 1923 in Cambridge to the late William and Alice (Maple) Sickles. She married Charles Junior Valentine on March 3, 1945, who preceded her in death on April 20, 2000. She loved raising her children and grandchildren, taking care of her birds, and her dog, "Babe".

She is survived by six sons; Charles William (Wanda) Valentine, Richard Lee (Dorothy) Valentine, Danny David Valentine, Johney Junior (Debbie) Valentine, and Frankie Chaney all of Warsaw, and Clyde Eugene Valentine of Palms, CA, three daughters; Mary Alice (John) Vogelmeter of Virginia, Florence Irene (Chris) Sharrier of Coshocton, and Judy Manley of Newcomerstown, one step-daughter, Shirley (Bill) Ford of Zanesville, 34 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Lucille and Betty.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Robert Ray Valentine, a daughter, Katherine Kay Beech, two brothers; Bill & Ern Sickles, four sisters; Irene, Fay, Pearl, and Jack, and a son-in-law, Ron Manley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Interment will follow in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time.
