Mildred G. (Cowger) Carr

ZANESVILLE- Mildred Gay (Cowger) Carr, 83, died Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born Oct. 13, 1936 in Webster Springs, WV to the late Issac Robert and Suzannah Ellen (Collins) Cowger. She attended Club Jesus Fellowship in Zanesville. She enjoyed puzzles, coloring, long walks, gardening, watching Hallmark & Lifetime movies, and completing handmade quilts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her good friends, Roger & Marilyn.

She is survived by her children, Robert Carr of Flat Rock, MI, Elizabeth Noakes of Dearborn Heights, MI, Margaret (Daniel) Ochoa of Zanesville, Albert Carr of Flat Rock, MI, and Larry (Melissa) Carr of Lake, MI; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Cora Degarmo of Frazeysburg, and Shirley Degarmo of Mt. Vernon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Cowger and Harold Carr; a brother, Harold Cowger; and a granddaughter, Katie Carr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with burial to follow in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation in one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
