Minnie Marie Brown

WEST LAFAYETTE – Minnie Marie Brown, 79, of Fairview St., died Nov. 27, 2015 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born March 25, 1936 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Thurman and Evalina (Morrison) Wilcox.

She was a member of the Coshocton County Art Guild. Attended the Nazarene Churches in Cooperdale and West Lafayette. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, painting, and all kinds of art.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Brenda) Brown and Clayton (Debbie Moody) Brown of Coshocton, Sue (Jim) Albright of Somerset and Darlene Southern of Clarksburg, WV. 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, & 15 great great grandchildren. Her brothers & sisters, Dorothy Mills, Peg Turner, Johnny Wilcox, Hubert Wilcox, Lewis “Buck” Wilcox, & Louise Bowser.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Brown, whom she married Dec. 24, 1954, he died Jan. 16, 1999. Also she was predeceased by 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Mt. Clare, WV. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
