Millwood - Molley Sue (McClain) Ash went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2011.

She was born to Charles and Jane (Smith) McClain on November 25, 1956. On September 17, 1978 she married Danny Ash, who survives. She enjoyed her flower bed, cooking and baking, feeding the welfare birds, shopping at Wal Mart, eating out at Spearman's and other restaurants, and going on round abouts with Carley Rae. She was also active in her church; New Castle Ministry.

Molley was a wonderful caring person, and with all of the problems she went through, she never put herself first. She was always wanting to help others in any way. She will be missed by her husband and family, and Molley took a lot of love to heaven with her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter; Deanna Michelle Ash, her granddaughter; Carley Ray Seitz, her mother; Jane McClain of Brinkhaven, her siblings; John McClain, Bonnie Wallace, and Ed McClain all of Danville, Nora Brooks of Brinkhaven, and Richard McClain of Apple Valley, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Rae Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery in Danville. Following interment, there will be a fellowship meal at the New Castle Ministry church by Peggy Sue's restaurant on US 36. Calling hours will be from 5-8 Thursday, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
