WARSAW – Nancy J. McFarland, 73, of E. Main St., died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born Nov. 10, 1943 in Tioga, WV to the late Clifford “Buck” and Estella (Hammons) Hopkins. She married James E. “Mac” McFarland on Feb. 29, 1980; who preceded her in death on June 2, 2014. Nancy earned a CPA degree but her passion in work was bartending. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, and love. Momma we love you more, more, more, more, more.
She is survived by three children, Ruth McFarland of Gainesville, FL, David McCormick of Warsaw, and Deanna McCormick of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Savannah (Good) Thompson, Nick Good, Novalea McCormick, and Alexia McCormick; three great grandchildren, Benjamin Good, Greyson Thompson, and Raelynn Thompson; and a brother, Michael Hopkins of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and ten siblings.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24th at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with cremation to follow. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
