Danville – Nina L. (Marchal) Workman, 86, passed away at the Country Club Campus in Mount Vernon on August 9, 2023.

Nina was born in Hartford City, IN on December 30, 1936 to Eugene and Delma Marchal. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School and later married Leroy F. Workman on June 19, 1960. She worked for Knox County Job and Family Services and Integrated Health Center before retiring. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star, and loved spending time and traveling with her family and friends.

She was pre deceased by her parents; her husband; her son, William M. “Bill’ Workman; brother, Glenn Marchal; sister-in-law, Dottie Marchal; and a niece, Leslie Bastendorf.

Surviving is her daughter, Karen Workman, and brother, Eugene (Dorothy) Marchal both of Mount Vernon; sisters-in-law, Fran Marchal, and Shirley and Donna Workman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will take place on Monday, August 14 from noon until 1:00 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 in Workman Cemetery, SR 62 Danville, with Rev. Dairel Kaiser officiating.
