Oris O. Davis

Warsaw- Oris Onita Davis, 86, of SR 60, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at the Coshocton Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 28, 1924 in New castle to the late Lewis Walter and Vera Hazel (Thatcher) Ogle. She was a member of the Warsaw First Presbyterian Church, Ohio Eastern Star, and the REACT Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bird watcher, and loved her dog, "Buddy". She enjoyed her time working at Senters, and also Art's Jewelers, where she retired from. She always loved going out to eat and spending time with her family.


She is survived by two daughters; Jill Grace & Sherry Anderson, two sons; Richard (Melody) Anderson & Jim (Barb) Anderson, all of Warsaw, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a brother, Tom (Kathie) Ogle of Apple Valley, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three husbands; William L. Anderson, Fletcher Pew, and Robert Davis, a son, Daniel W. Anderson, a brother, Jack Ogle, and a sister, Garnet M. Samuell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. David Krankovich officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time.
