WALHONDING, OH- Lucretia Ann "Pat" Ringwalt, 75, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Hospice of Volusia / Flagler, Florida after a long battle with cancer.

She was born October 3, 1933 in Marietta to the late Harry "Smitty" and Violet Irene (Farmer) Smith. She was a 1951 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. She was married to Eugene Kocher in 1951, and from this union there were four children. She later married Harry "Junior" Ringwalt on Dec. 9, 1970, whom survives. She worked as a security guard for Ohio Security, in the 1960's she worked for the Dresden Tray Factory, and for the Frazeysburg Plastic Factory, which later became Ohio Plastics. She was a manager of the Coshocton Goodwill Industries until 1989. She spent the wintertimes in Deltona, FL. She collected Fenton Art Glass, was a member of the National Fenton Glass Society, and Fenton Art Glass Collectors of America. She was a member of the Community U.M.C. in De Bary, FL, an avid reader, gardener, a regular at the Longaberger Senior Center in Dresden, and loved spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Women's Auxillary.


She is survived by her husband, Harry "Junior" Ringwalt of Walhonding, children; Rodney G. (Jackie) Kocher of High Point, NC, Debby (Don) Oaklief of Walhonding, Mark (Barbara) Kocher of Fresno, and Ann (Robert "Nemo") Nemeth of Coshocton, step-children; Ron (Vicki) Ringwalt of Walhonding, and Dean (Kari) Ringwalt of Walhonding, grandchildren; James H. (Michelle) Darr of Coshocton, David Nemeth of Coshocton, Theresa Nemeth of Coshocton, Lori Kocher of Fresno, and Reba Kocher of Fresno, step-grandchildren; Craig (Rhonda) Ringwalt of Warsaw, Robin (Brian) Kelso of Zanesville, Brad (Kathy) Ringwalt of Brinkhaven, Dustin Ringwalt, Brice Evan Ringwalt, and Seth Jacob Ringwalt all of Walhonding, brothers; William G. (Geri) Smith of Newark, David L. Smith and George Smith of Frazeysburg, sisters; Eveline (Charles) Parr and Susan Moran of Drumright, OK, and numerous Great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and a special first cousin, Dorotha Graham of Dresden.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Coshocton Baptist Church 1631 Denman Avenue with Pastor Paul Schwab officiating. Burial will be in the New Castle Cemetery.
