COOPERDALE- Patricia Ellen Dickerson, 78, of TR 428, died Thursday April 26, 2012 at her residence.
She was born July 16, 1933 in Coshocton to the late George and Margie (Evans) Everhart. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Patricia enjoyed reading her bible, doing so every day. She was a longtime member of the Branch United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leroy Dickerson of Cooperdale, who she married on June 15, 1951. Also surviving are three sons; Robert (Gayle) Dickerson of Warsaw, Kenneth (Laura) Dickerson, and Todd (Jeannie) Dickerson, both of Cooperdale, a daughter, Joy (Dave) Smith of Coshocton, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, four sisters; Donna (Jerry) Longaberger of Dresden, Barb (Don) Stingel, Lois Cornelious, & Mary Fitzgerald, all of Coshocton, a brother, David (Sally) Everhart of Coshocton, a brother-in-law, Robert Dickerson, and a sister-in-law, Mildred Smyers, both of West Carlisle, and her faithful companions, "Dixie" & "Polly".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Kay Dickerson, one granddaughter, one grandson, three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday April 30, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Joel Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.
