Patricia A. Fitzpatrick

       WARSAW- Patricia Fitzpatrick died early morning Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family- Shane, David, Kimberly, and Jessica.

       She was born November 22nd, 1943 in Newark to the late Gerald Smith and the late Eileen (Powell) Smith. Her life was heavily influenced by her late grandparents Thomas A. and Marie (Glaunsinger) Powell Sr.

       She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She was a member of the Perry Baptist Church of Walhonding, Ohio. She was also devoted as a lifeguard in her younger years, and a 4H advisor for many years following that. She will be remembered for her caring love to her family and friends. She enjoyed being with her family, her flowers, hummingbirds, all genres of music, baking, swimming, dancing, and motorcycle rides.

       She married the love of her life Shane D. Fitzpatrick of Warsaw, Ohio on September 27th, 2015, who survives. She is also survived by her two sons, David Richards and Charlie Richards. Two daughters Kimberly (Jason) Graham and Jessica (Dennis) Claggett. Three brothers, Richard, Paul, and Jeff Smith. One sister, Carol Peck. Thirteen grandchildren, Chuck, Nicole, Heather, Joshua, Sarah, Sydney, Caylee, Tyler, Trenton, Triton, Devin, Jesse, and Jasmine. Eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

       In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Jesse E. Wolford, son Raymond L. Richards, one daughter Kathrine M. Vickers, two brothers Ronald E. Smith and Pat E. Smith, and one sister Sandra “Sandy” Antill.

       A graveside service for Patricia A. (Smith) Fitzpatrick (82) will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday October 8th at Woods Church Cemetery located at 7557 Woods Church Road Walhonding, Ohio 43843. Pastor Robert Wright will deliver the eulogy. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw has been entrusted with arrangements. FischerFuneralHome.com
