Paul Leffler

October 6, 1925 — February 21, 2009

Millwood - Paul (LEFTY) Leffler, 83, of Millwood passed away early Saturday morning Feb 21, 2009 surrounded by his family. He had been a resident of Whispering Hills Care Center the past six weeks. He was born Oct 6, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio.

Paul was a very talented man and loved the outdoors and working with his hands.

Paul loved hunting trips and friends in Wyoming and always told everyone his wedding vows with Shirley said Love, Honor, Obey, AND six weeks in Wyoming in the fall.

He had a passion for oil painting, stained glass, pottery, basket weaving, woodworking, wood carving, gardening, fishing, and bird watching.

He also enjoyed talking and joking with all his friends at Spearman's Restaurant.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Shirley whom he married October 11, 1984, three children, Paula (Bill) Price of Chicago, Il, Jana (Larry) Couch of Mansfield, Rod (Claudia) Ridgway of Mt. Vernon. Ten Grandchildren, Rochelle (Shawn) Swallows of Columbus, Erin (Ian) Fellows of Columbus, Mark (Amber) Osborne of Mansfield, Scott (Renee) Couch of West Liberty, Matthew (Michelle) Couch of Mansfield, Jennifer (Kevin) McDowell of Gambier, Shannon (Brian) Frame of Mansfield, Jessica Frye of Mansfield, Amber Bush of Mt Vernon, Megan Hissong of Mt Vernon, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including Michaela Didinger, his favorite wrestling partner and her dog Buster.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lucille Leffler, his first wife, Adrienne, sister, Dorma, and his son, Danny.

At Paul's request, services will not be held. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at a later date. The Fischer Funeral Home of Danville has been entrusted with arrangements.
